# Sync errors

This error message pops up over and over again for a library instance stored on a Samba share on my NAS:
```auto
Failed to fetch remote changes: Source library is missing requested HEAD revision: %s
```
Any idea on what is happening?

Reviewing the the corresponding code, this might just be a bogus error that could occur when a previous synchronization got interrupted at a certain point. I’ve adjusted the error condition to make up for that and created a macOS build so that you can test whether this gets rid of the error:
