Enhancements

  • The default storage mode for new library instances is now “manual selection” instead of “all originals”, avoiding accidental synchronization of all photos after adding an instance
  • Fixed a performance issue that caused the UI to become sluggish while typing search expressions in libraries with a large number of keywords present
  • Heavily reduced time and memory use when creating a new library revision after adding a large number of new files to an existing folder
  • The application now shows a “SHUTTING DOWN” status page while performing the application shutdown
  • Added mitigation code for external background processes on Windows that lock newly created files directly after their creation, leading to possible image cache update failures
  • Added a note about multi-drive library setups to the scanned folder settings page

Bug fixes

  • Fixed the warning notification for insufficient storage settings not updating when no other library instances are online
  • Fixed a possible crash after disconnecting the external drive that contains the library
  • Fixed a possible crash at shutdown when inside details view
  • Fixed a possible application hang at shutdown when the application attempts to present a message dialog window

Feel free to leave any feedback here or in the bug reports sub forum. Thanks for helping to shape a new way of organizing photos!

The Linux download link just leads to an “404 Not Found” error page.

Thanks for the heads up! Working now.
