Add a donate button without giving the pro version

I stumbled across Aspect while searching for a good photo management App for my windows PC.

While the rest of the apps keep even bare minimum features behind paywalls, Aspect’s free version is amazing. It has most of the features in the free version itself. I am eagerly waiting for the facial recognition feature. I am glad you people are bringing it in the free version.

Just want to point out that 130$ may not be a big deal for Western or European countries, but it’s one month’s rent for me, which is why even Netflix and other services have far cheaper rates in India. That is why I am requesting you to add a donation feature without giving out the pro version so people like me can do our bit to support the development.

Hello and thank you for the kind suggestion! We’d have to figure out how to make this work with regards to taxes and whether we’d have to rely on some third-party donation/payment platform for that. I will look into this.

Also, I’ll see if we can somehow configure more adequate prices for certain regions. We are unfortunately functionally limited to what our payment provider offers in that regard, and selling downloadable software worldwide without a payment provider is simply not realistic due to the complicated tax compliance requirements.
