During “analyzing images” and/or syncing with server (not sure which caused the issue) lock and sleep the computer running Aspect (I closed the lid on my MBP)
Unlock computer running Aspect
Operating system/Hardware used
Aspect RC11 running on MacOS Sequoia 15.0 on M1 Max 16" MacBook Pro
Aspect-web RC11 running on Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)
I closed the lid again (old habits and such) and immediately realized my mistake. By the time I opened the screen and unlocked my account again with fingerprint Aspect had completely crashed. I tried to send the report but it was rejected as too large. If there is a way for me to easily identify, recover and send them to you, I’d be happy to pull the logs
On the bright side, the server didn’t crash this time and was able to gracefully resume once Aspect was back up and running.
I just fixed the “SUSPENDING…” hang issue and will look into the server crash issue now. Fortunately this was easy to reproduce, so no logs were needed. A new release is planned for tomorrow.
Would this also present as Aspect completely crashing? I’ve had that happen twice as well. I believe one of the crash reports went through and I included my email address but the one this morning failed. That may be more related to a memory leak. My MBP is really lagging, even typing is significantly delayed, so I checked Activity Monitor and see that Aspect is currently using 4.14GB. It’s been running for maybe 3 hours
