'Edit with...' menu list shows no apps

The apps list is not populated in the ‘Edit with…” menu.

Some questions to make this more actionable:

  • On which operating system is this happeneing?
  • Which applications are listed under File/Aspect → Settings → External Editors?
  • Which applications (including their version) are installed in the system, which should be in the external editors list?

Edit: One more question: Which file extension does the selected image/video have?
