I am using different devices in my network, and when I add an event in one device, it appears in another device and I have the option of “Keep the Event Available Locally”, which I assume it will download the files locally.
I would like to do the opposite of it, so that events that I have locally now I just want to have them in the other devices to free some storage space.
How can this be done?
We currently still don’t have automatic deletion of non-required events or individual photo folders activated. This is planned to be activated for version 1.1.0, together with the possibility to configure a redundancy factor that should be sustained (e.g. to ensure that at least one copy of every file exists within the network of library instances).
But what you can do is to remove the “keep locally” checkmark and then, after making sure that the event exists in a different instance, delete the event folder directly in the file system. The app will then not try to recreate it if it doesn’t fall within the configured local storage settings.
