Lightroom has a very convenient way to filter photos in a view
Metadata filter

You can select any metadata element as a header for column and then lightroom will show a list of distinct values of that element in the column.
After you select one or several values, photos displayed in a view are filtered and metadata elements values in different columns are also updated automatically
For example if the first column has values of “Camera” metadata and I select “Nikon D5200“ then values in the next column “Lens” will be updated so they will only have lenses of the photos made with “Nikon D5200“ camera
This is very helpful for working with large unsorted photos archives
