Menu shortcut keys don't work when editing text on macOS

Observed behavior

When editing text, such as typing in the search bar or renaming a collection in the organization panel, menu shortcut keys like Cmd+Q do not work.

Expected behavior

Shortcut keys should work at any time.

Steps required to reproduce

  1. Click the search bar
  2. Press Cmd+Q or any other menu shortcut key

macOS Sequoia 15.5
