Here’s some ideas I have to improve the organization panel and search bar.
Make it so that if you click again on an already selected collection (or color, rating, keyword) in the organization panel, it will be deselected and removed from search.
When holding Cmd/Ctrl to select multiple collections at once in the organization panel, the selected collections should be highlighted to indicate that they are selected just like when a single collection is selected.
(Speaking of organization panel highlighting, sometimes the highlight is blue and other times it is dark gray. I’m not sure which is correct. If it is blue, you can usually turn it gray by double clicking on an empty area in the photo grid. If it is gray, you can turn it blue by double-clicking an item in the organization panel.)
Add the ability to search for photos that don’t have any keyword or don’t have a specific keyword as you can do with collections.
Make it possible to edit items in the search bar after you have pressed enter and they are surrounded with a rectangle.
Add an X to the rectangles in the search bar so that that filters can be quickly removed.
Add an X to the search bar so that the entire search can be cleared.
