In my workflow I often “Select folders as events” (I usually pick Capture One session folders which works really well with Aspect when managed in the existing folder structure), but it also means that there will be a lot of subfolders shown in the “Pick Your Events” view and no option to expand/collapse all folders inside the main folder. Maybe they should be collapsed by default with an option to “show all” or at least the other way around?

we’ve now implemented an automatic way to handle this, hopefully without too much risk of collapsing folders that shouldn’t be. Starting with the next release, it will automatically collapse all “CaptureOne” folders that themselves don’t contain any selected event folders, as well as the parent folder, if all it contains is the “CaptureOne” folder. This can later also easily be extended to other similar folders created by other applications.
It also looks like Capture One works nicely as an editor when it has a session loaded (I always thought that opening files externally didn’t work), so I’ll also add that as an automatically recognized editor application for the next release.
