New features

  • Added a loupe/navigator panel to details view
    • The loupe panel allows to quickly peek at image details by simply pointing with the mouse
    • The navigator enables quickly moving the view to certain areas of the image when zoomed in
    • Setting the zoom factor explicitly is now also possible using the new panel
  • Added a fullscreen image view
    • Shows only the image on a black background
    • Supports auto-advance to set up simple slide shows

Enhancements

  • Removed the limitation to not be able to zoom out past fit-to-screen resolution
  • Implemented a quick-peek zoom mode using the middle mouse button (press, drag, release)
  • Added keyword auto-completion in the metadata template dialog
  • Improved the layout of the metadata template dialog on small screens for long inputs
  • The keyword editor now applies a typed-in keyword when the focus shifts to a different control
  • Changed the default fullscreen shortcut to F11 to be consistent with most modern apps
  • The export dialog now remembers the last used settings, as well as file name patterns

Bug fixes

  • Fixed wrong key color space resulting in desaturated event headers and placeholder colors on thumbnails
  • Fixed the panning in zoomed mode to precisely follow the mouse cursor
  • Fixed an empty “CAMERA” section appearing in the metadata template dialog
  • Fixed a crash happening when an image in an export collection is missing together with its parent directory
  • Fixed clipping errors when drawing images in comparison view
  • Fixed bottom and right Window resize borders on Linux when on a scaled display
  • Fixed a crash occurring on Linux when no display scale factor could be determined
  • Cached thumbnails of images now retain their alpha channel
  • Fixed setting the worker thread priority on Linux, improving UI responsiveness
  • Fixed an issue where empty tiles appeared in the image strip of an event paragraph
