Hey everyone,
a new version of Aspect has been released: 1.0.0-preview.9. You’ll find the download links at the bottom of this post. Simply install over the existing installation to upgrade. The following changes and additions are included:
New features
- Added a check box in the settings dialog to show/hide the photo strip on event covers in the photo stream (#518)
Enhancements
- Added experimental support for displaying PSB files and PSD files saved without maximized compatibility (#521)
- Added a plus button to the organization pane to enable creating new collections and groups
- Added .psb, .xcf and .afphoto to the list of recognized image formats
- Note that .xcf and .afphoto cannot currently be displayed
- The search bar now displays a preselected auto-complete entry for full-text search
- Now shows the library unloading screen at application exit instead of immediately hiding the application window
- Improved the crash reporter dialog
- Added progress indicator for the crash report upload process
- Crash logs are now sent in compressed form and can be larger without causing the upload to fail
- Reordered the controls to make the crash log related check boxes more prominent
- Added a number of recognized external editor applications
- Improved file copy performance during import
Bug fixes
- Fixed a crash occurring when using the dialog to convert an existing folder to an event
- Fixed the crash reporter dialog not responding on macOS
- Fixed missing translation strings in the crash reporter dialog
- Fixed keyboard shortcuts not working in dialogs on macOS (#506)
- Fixed an issue where keyboard shortcuts were not working on macOS before opening the menu at least once (#520)
