Bug fixes

  • Fixed a crash at startup happening when running on macOS 15.4
  • Avoiding attempts to download missing files in libraries where no peers are online
  • Partially fixed a possible crash happening when shutting down the application while a peer is actively downloading files
  • Fixed an issue where the process might get blocked for some time after a peer went offline during synchronization
  • Fixed an issue where synchronization with a library would not be triggered when there were other library instances from which the peer in question had been removed
  • Fixed bogus periodical triggers for downloading missing files resulting in an activity briefly showing up every two seconds
  • Fixed a missing synchronization trigger when peers come back online
  • Fixed emitting synchronization errors due to attempting to synchronize with offline peers
  • Fixed files being erroneously allowed to be dragged on events that were not available locally
  • Fixed deleted/hidden events being listed in the โ€œMove Toโ€ menu

Feel free to leave any feedback here or in the bug reports sub forum. Thanks for helping to shape a new way of organizing photos!

I havenโ€™t been able to fix all open issues discovered with 1.0.0-rc.12, due to the fatal crash issue introduced by macOS 15.4. But fortunately, a workaround in the language runtime library was possible, so this release runs normally on 15.4.
