Enhancements
- Linux: Implemented desktop file based auto-detection of external editors
- Instead of looking for the executable, applications are now matched by their application ID
- Application icons are being looked up, too
- Detected applications now include AfterShot, Darktable, Fotoxx, GIMP, Pinta, Krita, RawTherapee, showFoto and VLC
Bug fixes
- Linux: Fixed a possible crash when a dialog gets closed right after being shown
- Linux: Fixed some custom keyboard shortcuts not working due to exraneous modifier key constants being detected
- Fixed resetting custom shortcuts not being persisted
- Fixed edited variants of images with a non 0° orientation coming out with the wrong orientation
- Fixed the file indicator not showing when new images are being detected in the library folder, outside of an event or individual photos folder
- Fixed a crash happening when loading the disk caches on a drive that is completely full
- Fixed “edit a copy” files not being recognized as variants when the file format is the same as the one configured for the external editor
- Fixed the toolbar not being visible in thumbnail view
