Hey everyone,

a new version of Aspect has been released: 1.0.0-rc.39 (view blog post). You’ll find the download links in the next section of this post. Simply install over the existing installation to upgrade.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a possible crash after creating an automatic import with the library device pane open
  • Fixed a possible partially unresponsive UI while the library device pane is open
  • Fixed referenced events not showing up in the correct place of the folder hierarchy in the event selector bubble
  • Fixed the application failing to start if the SDL_VIDEODRIVER environment variable is set to “wayland”
  • Fixed an issue on macOS 26 causing controls in the title bar area to be unusable
  • Fixed dragging within the search bar causing the window to get moved instead of selecting text
  • Fixed an issue on macOS that caused the UI to not be redrawn correctly after minimizing and restoring the application window
  • iOS: Fixed network connectivity issues caused by missing local network connection permission.
