New features

  • Added a new menu entry for moving images contained in a scanned folder into the library folder

Enhancements

  • The full screen view now only closes when the application as a whole loses focus
  • Avoiding files removed from file system notifications when the affected files are in the library trash

  • Fixed a class of possible crashes during shutdown while library instances are being unloaded
  • Fixed a crash happening for certain Olympus camera images with invalid GPS coordinate metadata
  • Windows: Fixed flickering issues for the fullscreen view
  • Fixed a rare crash happening when local library information is being updated during a network access from a different machine running Aspect
  • Fixed a possible crash when moving a freshly imported image to an event at a very early stage of the import process

  • Fixed a possible crash directly after upgrading an old library instance
  • Fixed possible issues resulting from possibility of a manual and an automatic file system synchronization process running in parallel
  • Fixed the the caption of certain message boxes to use the term โ€œphoto streamโ€ instead of โ€œshoe boxโ€
  • Fixed the image analysis process to not process images that are in the library trash
  • Fixed the tree generation algorithm for the event selector UI to guarantee a consistent folder hierarchy
