Hey everyone,

a new version of Aspect has been released: 1.0.0-rc.46 (view blog post). You’ll find the download links in the next section of this post. Simply install over the existing installation to upgrade.

Enhancements

  • Adjusted the appearance of thumbnails with enabled metadata captions
  • Included CJK fallback font to enable display of Japanese/Korean/Chinese texts
  • Improved the layout of the library create/join page of the welcome dialog

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a crash happening when attempting to load a catalog with an empty catalog file
  • Fixed an issue where the mouse cursor would indicate resizable borders for fullscreen windows
  • Fixed paragraph captions sometimes being unnecessarily truncated (“…”)
  • Fixed license status not being updated after registering a early access/beta license in the welcome screen
  • Windows: Fixed two possible crashes caused by invalid file/folder names containing “:” characters
  • Fixed large RAW images appearing blurred when viewed at larger than 100% zoom
