a new version of Aspect has been released: 1.0.0-rc.55 (view blog post). You’ll find the download links in the next section of this post. Simply install over the existing installation to upgrade.

New features

  • Implemented a “quick-look” feature in thumbnail view (press space bar to enlarge the focused image)
  • Added a “Jump To” menu entry in the paragraph drop down menu allowing to directly jump to a particular paragraph

Enhancements

  • The date/time adjustment dialog now allows to also modify the “Date/time modified” metadata field
  • Adjusted the behavior of pressing space in details view to match the middle mouse button

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a crash during synchronization that occurred when a file gets remotely deleted from in a scanned folder that is not locally available in the active library instance
  • Fixed a crash occurring when a missing duplicate file is stored in a scanned folder that is not locally available in the active library instance
  • Fixed a crash when using the event selector in the presence of scanned folders that are not locally available in the active library instance
  • Fixed the color of the status indicators in the device pane when using the light theme
  • Fixed the mouse cursor saying as a drag cursor after zooming in and out in details view using the middle mouse button
  • Fixed library instance with synchronization errors being displayed as “up to date”
