Hey everyone,

a new version of Aspect has been released: 1.0.0-rc.57 (view blog post). You’ll find the download links in the next section of this post. Simply install over the existing installation to upgrade.

Enhancements

  • Upgraded to libjxl 0.12.0 and added JXL as an export format choice
  • The log file can now be viewed from the crash reporter dialog before sending it
  • The time zone used to determine the start and end of a day in an event is now based on the majority of the contained photos

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a crash happening on Intel Macs when a second window/dialog is shown
  • Fixed a crash happening when attempting to import photos into an individual photo folder that is not available in the local library instance
